Background
The Life Institute and Research Academy (LIRA) is a multi-disciplinary research and consulting service-providing organization. It was established initially as a single ownership (proprietorship)-entity in 2020 from the local government (City Corporation) Bangladesh in 2009 under the act (act 60 of 2009) bearing the registration number TRAD/DNCC/019065. Thus, its overall experience is about 04 years. which was made as a subsidiary organization through an agreement with SOMRIDDHO BANGLADESH in 2023. Which is registered under section 4 (3) of the Voluntary Social Welfare Institute (Registration and Regulation) Ordinance (No. 46) of 1961 from the Dhaka district Social Service Office of the Department of the Social Service, Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of the Peoples of Bangladesh. The registration number is D-010001.

The mission of LIRA is to provide all types of research assistance to SOMRIDDHO BANGLADESH as the research unit. On the other hand, to develop an institutional framework of excellence to render research and consulting services to government, non-government, and private agencies.
